  • 1 c. quick grits
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

Directions

    Cook grits according to directions on container.

    Add butter, eggs and cheese.

    Pour into oblong 8 x 10-inch Pyrex dish.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Serves about six. Can be made day ahead before baking.
