  • 2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/2 diced green pepper
  • 1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can cream soup (mushroom, chicken or celery)
  • 1 can Durkee French fried onions (half in casserole and half on top)

Directions

    Grease 9 x 13-inch casserole.

    Bake, covered, for 30 minutes at 350°.

    Then uncover and bake 30 minutes.
