- 1/4 lb. American or Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/8 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Finely grate the cheese.

2Place all the ingredients in a bowl and blend together with fingers until smooth. Chill for 1 hour. Take chilled mixture and form into 1/2-inch size balls.

3Place on baking sheet and chill for 1/2 hour.

4Place baking sheet in a 350° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

5Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
