- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 6 slices American cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan.

2Stir in flour, but do not brown. Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper.

3Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

4Pour over broccoli, potatoes or other vegetables.

5Grate Cheddar cheese on top and heat until melted.

6Add a little garlic powder and serve over noodles.
