Ingredients
- 1/2 c. processed sharp cheese
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- few grains cayenne pepper
Directions

1Cut cheese into shreds and cream with butter.

2Sift in flour, salt and pepper.

3Work this mixture into cheese and butter.

4The mixture will be crumbly.

5Press it together in a piece of waxed paper and chill for several hours.

6Roll to 1/2-inch thickness, folding crumbs over and over until dough holds together in an even rectangle.

7Cut into 1-inch squares.

8Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

9Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 20 minutes.

10Serve hot or cold.
