  • 3 cups Flour, Sifted
  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • 12 ounces, fluid Beer
  • 1/4 cups Butter, Melted
  • Garlic And Onion Powder To Taste
  • Parsley Flakes For Presentation

    1. Sift together dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt and sugar).

    2. Stir in grated cheese and coat well with flour.

    3. Mix in beer until loose and sticky.

    4. Place dough ball in the center of a greased pan. (A loaf pan works well, or you can also separate batter into muffin tins.)

    5. Pour melted butter on top.

    6. Sprinkle garlic and onion powders on top to suit your taste.

    7. Sprinkle parsley flakes for a nice presentation.

    Bake for one hour at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
