  • 4 slice of bacon, diced
  • 6 tsp unsalted butter, cubed
  • 4 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 cup milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 oz velvetta, cubed
  • 2 cup shredded extra sharp chedder cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 lb fresh or frozen corn

    Heat oven 375.

    Cook bacon in a 6qt saucepan over medium heat, and cook, stirring until brown about 8 min.

    Add butter and garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 1 min.

    Add flour, and cook, stirring for 1min.

    Whisk in milk and bring to a boil cook stirring constantly until thickened about 2 min.

    Add cream cheese, velvetta, chedder and paprika and cook until smooth.

    Remove from heat and add in the corn and salt and pepper.

    Transfer to a 9x13 pan.

    Cook until bubbily and brown about 40min.
