Cheesy Lamb Chops

  • 4 lamb loins or sirloin chops or 8 rib chops (3/4-inch thick)
  • 4 to 8 slices process Swiss cheese
  • 4 to 8 thin onion slices

Directions

    Set oven control to broil and/or 550°. Broil lamb chops with tops about 3-inches from heat until brown, about 7 minutes. Cut cheese to fit chops. Turn lamb chops. Broil until done, 5 to 7 minutes longer.

    Place onion and cheese slice on each lamb chop. Broil until cheese begins to melt, about 30 seconds.
