- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 1/2 lb. sugar
- 3/4 lb. flour
- 3 eggs
- 4 oz. glaze cherries
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp. milk (if necessary)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream the butter or margarine and sugar together.

2Beat each egg in separately.

3Stir in flour and salt, adding milk, if necessary.

4Mix in cherries (cut in small pieces) and vanilla. Put in 7-inch greased pan and bake at 325° for 2 hours.

5(Or, half everything, put in loaf pan and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
