  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 12 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons butter, softened
  • 12 cup chopped pecans

    in a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, pie filling and eggs until blended.

    pour into a greased 13 inch x 9 inch x 2 inch baking pan.

    combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter.

    sprinkle over batter.

    top with nuts.

    bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
