- 1 (2 layer size) pkg. fudge cake mix (See Note)
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 2 beaten eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a large bowl, mix fudge cake mix, almond extract, cherry pie filling and beaten eggs; beat with mixer until well blended.

3Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

4Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

5Remove from oven and let cool 1 to 2 hours before frosting.

6Let frosting set before cutting into bars.
