Cherry Compote With Chocolate

  • 10 oz cherries, stoned and chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp red wine
  • 1 tbsp Kirsch
  • 1/2 None lemon, juice only
  • 1 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped

Directions

    Place the cherries, sugar, red wine, Kirsch and lemon juice in a food processor and process until smooth. Stir in the chocolate and spoon into 2 small sterilized jars. Seal and store in the fridge. Use within 2 weeks.
