  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 pkg. dry white or yellow cake mix or 1 pkg. Jiffy cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

    Butter a 8 x 8-inch pan.

    Place the cherry pie filling in pan. Top with the cake mix.

    Melt 1 stick margarine.

    Pour over cake mix.

    Sprinkle with nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Delicious warm or cold.

    Does not need to be refrigerated if any is left.
