- 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. fig preserves
- dash of salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- vegetable cooking spray
Directions

1Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl; stir well.

2Add eggs; stir until dry ingredients are moistened (batter will be slightly thick).

3Spread into a 9-inch square baking pan coated well with cooking spray.

4Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5Cool in pan for 10 minutes; cut into bars about 2 inches across.

6Bake about 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
