- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Stir in milk, flour and baking powder; mix well.

3Spread batter in 6 1/2 x 10 x 2-inch baking dish.

4Cover with pie filling.

5Combine lemon juice with boiling water and carefully pour over top.

6Bake in moderate (350°) oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until crusty top or toothpick comes out clean.

7Makes 6 to 8 servings.
