  • 1/3 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • cherries
  • corn flake crumbs

Directions

    Mix Crisco, egg, sugar, vanilla, milk and flour, then add 1/2 cup raisins and nuts.

    Make dough into small balls.

    Roll in corn flake crumbs.

    Place on greased cookie sheet.

    Cook at 375° until lightly browned.

    Place 1/4 cherry on top of each cookie.
