- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1In a saucepan on top of the stove, melt margarine over medium heat.

2Next, add both brown and white sugars to margarine and continue to melt, stirring frequently.

3Remove from heat and stir in flour.

4Add eggs, one at a time, and fold into mixture.

5When well mixed, add flavoring and nuts by folding into mixture.

6Pour mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

7Bake at 325° for about 50 minutes.

8This cake falls to make its wonderful taste.

9Sometimes if it rises too much, bang the pan to help it fall.

10Dust top with confectioners sugar.

11Cool before cutting.
