  • 12 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar, plus
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 12 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 9 inches pie shells, baked

    Stir all ingredients.

    ( except 2 egg whites) together rapidly and

    bake at 325 for thirty to forty-five minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and center of pie is set.

    Beat 2 egg whites with 3 tbsp sugar and vanilla.

    Brown in oven.

    Double the recipe for 3 pies.

    Set pie pan inside a baking dish with water in to bake.
