Chewy Cake

Directions

   Melt the butter in an 11 x 13-inch pan.

   Mix 1 egg and cake mix in a bowl (this is a very dry mixture).

   Sprinkle this over the melted butter in the 11 x 13-inch pan.

   Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour this mixture on top of the cake mixture.

   Spread it to completely cover the cake mixture. Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

   Allow to cool at least 20 minutes.

   Makes 18 to 24 squares.
