Ingredients

  • 1 (3 lb.) chicken
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 c. sherry
  • 3/4 lb. fusilli
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Coat chicken with flour.

    In large frypan over medium heat, melt margarine.

    Cook chicken until browned on all sides.

    Stir in sauce and sherry and heat to boiling.

    Reduce heat to low; cover pan and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is done, basting occasionally with sauce.

    Cook fusilli; drain.

    Place on ovenproof platter.

    Arrange chicken on fusilli.

    Spoon sauce over all.

    Place cheese slices over chicken.

    Broil 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
