- 3 whole chicken breasts, skinned and halved
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
- 1 green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) can whole tomatoes, mashed
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, sliced and drained
- 2 tsp. tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
- 2 Tbsp. pimiento, finely chopped
Directions

1Wash chicken pieces well and pat dry.

2Combine remaining ingredients in crock-pot.

3Add chicken pieces, pushing down into liquid to thoroughly moisten and coat.

4Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.
