- 1 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, skinned, boned and cut in strips or cubes
- 2 to 4 cloves garlic
- pepper and salt to taste
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 15 1/2 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/3 c. dry white wine
- 1 tsp. basil
- Italian seasoning to taste
- 2 c. sliced celery
- 1 c. mushrooms, sliced or cubed
Directions

1Season chicken with garlic, salt and pepper.

2Saute chicken in olive oil for approximately 2 minutes or until it loses uncooked look.

3Stir in spaghetti sauce.

4Rinse jar with wine and add to mixture.

5Add herbs.

6Simmer for 10 minutes.

7Add celery and mushrooms; continue cooking until celery is tender-crisp (about 15 minutes).

8Do not overcook.

9Serve over rice or pasta.
