  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1 medium can chow mein noodles
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds

    Melt butter.

    Add flour and mix together.

    Add milk slowly, stirring constantly to make a white sauce.

    Add salt and bouillon to mixture; let cool.

    Add well beaten eggs, mayonnaise, chicken and almonds; mix well.

    At the last minute, add the chow mein noodles and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, or until firm and lightly browned.
