  • 1 c. instant rice
  • chicken, cooked and deboned, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can garden peas
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • sliced mushrooms, if desired
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Layer rice in 8 x 8-inch dish, uncooked.

    Add chicken, cooked and deboned and cut into bite size pieces.

    Spread over rice. Mix soup with pea juice and pour over rice, chicken and peas. Spread 1 cup grated cheese on top.

    Add sliced mushrooms, if desired.

    Cook in 350° oven for 30 minutes until hot and bubbling. Salt and pepper to taste.
