  • 2 c. cooked, diced chicken
  • 1 c. raw celery, chopped
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (or celery or mushroom)
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds (optional)
  • 1 c. crushed cornflakes

Directions

    Mix the first 8 ingredients and put in buttered casserole. Mix crushed cornflakes with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of melted butter and sprinkle over chicken mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
