  • 1 chicken, boiled and deboned or about 6 chicken legs
  • 1 1/2 pkg. cornbread dressing mix
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 2 c. chicken broth

Directions

    Boil chicken. Debone and save broth. Saute onion in margarine. Mix dressing mix and onion-butter mix.

    Use a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.

    Layer dressing mix, chicken and cream of chicken soup diluted with 1 can broth.

    Layer of dressing mix, chicken and cream of mushroom soup diluted with 1 can broth. Top casserole with remaining dressing crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
