Chicken Crescent Vegetable Braid

  • -1 C. chicken, cooked and chopped
  • -1/4 C. green pepper, diced
  • -1/4 C. red pepper diced (for the green and red peppers, I get the Publix brand bag of frozen green and red peppers w/ onions mixed together)
  • -2 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • -1 tsp. dill
  • -1/8 C. mayonnaise
  • -1/8 C. light sour cream
  • -1/8 tsp. salt
  • -1 package crescent rolls

    1. Preheat oven to 375

    2. Mix everything together in a bowl, except the crescent rolls

    3. Roll out the crescent roll sheet, put the chicken mixture down the middle of the rectangle

    4. Take a knife and slice strips at a diagonal on either side of the mixture. Starting at the top, bring one strip at a time over the chicken, making a braid (or if you don't feel creative that night, just roll up the seams around the mixture and pinch closed).

    5. Bake on baking sheet or dish for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
