  • 10 Chicken drumsticks
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 dash Oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Sake
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger (tube)
  • 700 ml Water
  • 1 Consomme soup stock cube
  • 3 pieces Curry roux (ready-made)
  • 20 grams Butter
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup

Directions

    Put the chicken drumsticks, sake, salt, and ginger in a plastic bag, then rub in well.

    Let sit for 20 minutes.

    In the meantime, thinly slice the onion.

    Pour a small amount of oil in a heated frying pan, and fry the chicken drumsticks from Step 1 over medium heat.

    When browned, add the onion, and continue stir-frying until they are soft and wilted.

    Add water and consomme to Step 2, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes over low heat.

    Add the curry roux, butter, and ketchup, simmer for another 5-10 minutes, then it's done.
