- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. milk or broth
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 c. diced cooked chicken
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Place bread crumbs and margarine in a large bowl.

2Add milk or broth that has been scalded and beaten until creamy.

3Add onions and celery.

4Add a few spoonfuls of hot mixture to eggs.

5Mix and combine with mixture in bowl.

6Add chicken and seasonings and pour into a greased loaf pan and bake in a 325° oven for about 45 minutes or until firm.

7Let stand a few minutes, unmold and serve hot with a gravy made of chicken broth.
