Penne With Broccoli

Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 4 c. steamed broccoli, coarsely chopped
- 1 can chicken broth
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. shaved or grated Romano cheese
- 1 lb. penne pasta
Directions

1In a saute pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil.

2Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

3Add the steamed broccoli and saute for 1 minute.

4Add chicken stock; raise the heat to high and cook until a lot of the liquid has evaporated, not all, stirring occasionally.

5Bring water to a boil while cooking broccoli and cook penne.

6Toss the pasta with broccoli sauce and season with pepper to taste.

7Add Romano cheese.

8Save some for serving.

9Toss again and serve.
