Ingredients

  • 1 dozen chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp red chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp ground garlic
  • dash red food color
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 each egg
  • 1 water - enough to make a batter
  • 1/2 can vegetable oil

    Cut each chicken wing into 2 lollipops and trim them.

    discard the tip portion

    Mix together in a bowl, all the ingredients except the chicken and oil
  4. 4
    Marinate the chicken in the prepared batter for atleast 1 hour

    Heat oil to a high temperature and fry the lollipops
  6. 6
    Cover the tips of the lollipop with foil to make them look attractive
  7. 7
    Serve with hot garlic sauce or hot and sweet sauce
