- 3 to 4 lb. hen or 6 chicken breasts
- 1 to 2 sticks margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
- biscuit dough (approximately 2 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. flour, dissolved in cold water with 1 c. milk added (add this to broth)
Directions

1Cook chicken until tender; remove all bones and skin.

2In large pan, arrange layer or chicken and 1/2 cup margarine.

3Roll dough and cut in strips.

4Place over chicken.

5Alternate this step until all chicken has been used, then pour chicken broth over this and roll top crust.

6Place on pie and slit in center.

7Brush top with butter.

8Bake in a 350° to 375° oven until golden brown.
