- 1 c. chopped potatoes
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix
- Velveeta cheese spread
Directions

1Add vegetables to water; simmer 10 minutes.

2Drain.

3Saute onion in margarine.

4Blend in flour and salt.

5Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

6Add 1/2 pound cheese, cubed.

7Stir until melted.

8Stir in vegetables and chicken.

9Spoon mixture into 1 1/2-quart casserole.

10Prepare pie crust as directed on package.

11Roll dough into 7-inch circle.

12Divide into sixths. Place over chicken mixture.

13Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.

14Top with cheese, sliced.
