  • 1 (4 lb.) chicken, cut up
  • 12 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 1 large carrot, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
