  • 1/2 c. sliced carrots
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or chicken fat
  • 3 c. bite size pieces cooked chicken
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper, nutmeg and garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. fat
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Saute celery, green pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons of butter.

    Make gravy with 3 tablespoons of butter, flour, seasonings and broth.
