Chicken Rice 'N Easy

Ingredients
- 1/3 c. dry white wine
- 3/4 c. chicken stock or water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice
- 1 1/2 to 2 chicken breasts, split
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (undrained)
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 Tbsp. fine bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2In a 7 x 11 x 2-inch greased glass baking pan, combine wine, stock or water, salt and rice.

3Place chicken breasts over rice mixture.

4Combine mushrooms with soup. Spread over chicken.

5Sprinkle with thyme, bread crumbs and butter.

6Cover tightly with foil and bake about 1 hour or until chicken is done.
