Ingredients

  • chicken parts (carcase, wings, leg, etc.)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 stalk celery with leaves
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bag frozen mixed veggies
  • 1 lb. box small pasta shells
  • noodles or other pasta
  • salt and pepper
  • good grated Romano cheese

Directions

    In an 8-quart pot add chicken parts.

    Cut up onion, celery and carrot, add to pot and fill to 1 1/2-inch from top.

    Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 4 hours with lid.
