  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion
  • several stalks celery
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pt. tomato juice
  • 1 pt. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic, chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small can chopped mushrooms
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 c. chopped, ripe olives
  • 1 or 2 pkg. spaghetti
  • 3/4 lb. American cheese, grated
