Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 2 hens
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 green peppers, diced
  • 2 boxes thin long spaghetti
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 2 lb. grated cheese

Directions

    Boil the hens in a large quantity of water with the onions, peppers and celery until chicken is ready to pull off bone. Remove hens from the stock.

    Bone and cut into bite-size pieces. Set aside.

    Strain stock and boil spaghetti in stock until done. Pour off excess stock and reserve.

    Add chicken to spaghetti.

    Add tomato sauce, mushroom soup and grated cheese.

    Mix well and simmer on top of range for an hour.

    It it gets too thick, add some of the stock which has been reserved.

    This tastes as good the second day as the first.
