- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 (7 oz.) cans diced green chilies
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Dredge meat in flour.

2Heat oil in deep skillet and brown meat.

3Add onion and garlic.

4Cook until onion is soft.

5Add remaining ingredients.

6Simmer covered 1 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.

7Stir occasionally.

8Remove lid.

9Simmer uncovered 5 to 10 minutes or to desired consistency.
