  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 15 oz. can kidney beans
  • 4 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Directions

    Brown ground beef, onion and celery.

    Drain off fat.

    To beef mixture, add kidney beans, chopped jalapeno peppers and tomato soup.

    Season with garlic powder, chili powder and pepper to taste.

    Simmer for 1 hour.

    Serve topped with grated Cheddar cheese.
