- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 pkg. chili seasoning
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans or red kidney beans
- water (acccording to chili seasoning pkg.)
- dash of garlic salt
Directions

1Brown hamburger; drain grease.

2Put hamburger back into pan. Add chopped onion and pepper.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Cook on high for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently.

5Let simmer about 15 or 20 more minutes or until onions and pepper are done.

6Put into bowls and top with grated Cheddar cheese, if desired.
