  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 cans Tender Layer biscuits
  • chili powder
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. green pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 c. onion (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven according to biscuit can.

    Cook hamburger completely.

    Add onions and green pepper while cooking, if desired.

    Add tomato sauce and paste. Then add chili powder to taste.

    Mixture should be thick.

    Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Separate biscuits by layer then spread thin layers to cover bottom of dish.

    Layer hamburger-biscuits-cheese.

    Bake 30 minutes or until biscuits are done.
