  • 1 1/2 c. each: grated Jack and Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (7 oz.) can Ortega whole green chiles, drained
  • 2 (5 1/3 oz. each) cans evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Combine cheeses; spread half on bottom of 8 x 8-inch baking dish.

    Split open chiles.

    Place over cheese; top with remaining cheese.

    Gradually add milk to flour.

    Blend well; add eggs.

    Pour over casserole; cover and bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

    Cool 10 minutes; cut into squares.
