Chili Roasted Peanuts

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon hot chili peppers crushed
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 cups peanuts raw

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325F (160C).

    Combine all ingredients except the nuts in a baking pan and mix well.

    Add nuts and toss to mix.

    Spread nuts in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.

    Serve barely warm or at room temperature.
