- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a 9-inch square pan.

2Bake for 25 minutes at 350°.

3While still warm, cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar.

4The cookies will look unbrowned.
