- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Cream sugar and margarine; add eggs, milk and vanilla.

3Beat well.

4Add flour, soda and salt; mix well.

5Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and nuts; mix well.

6Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie and 12 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.

8Cool 1 minute. Remove to wire rack.

9Cool completely.

10Yields about 5 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
