- 1 pkg. frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips, very finely chopped
- 4 tbsp. hazelnuts, finely chopped
- nuts of your choice
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F.

2On a well floured surface, place one sheet of pastry dough and roll into a 12x12-inch square.

3Spread half of the chocolate and nuts evenly over half of the dough.

4Fold over dough and roll our into a 7x14-inch rectangle.

5Cut pastry into 1/2-inch strips.

6Holding one end of each strip, twist the dough 4 or 5 times.

7Place dough strips on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until pastry is puffed and brown.

8Repeat with second sheet of dough.

9Let cool and dust with cocoa powder or confectioners' sugar.
