- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream the butter or margarine and sugar together.

2Beat until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add sifted dry ingredients and chocolate syrup alternately, blending well.

3Blend in vanilla and chopped nuts. Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube or Bundt pan. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

4Spread with Lemon Glaze when almost cool.
