  • 2 c. water
  • 2/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 8 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine in large saucepan the water, oil and cocoa.

    Mix over heat until boiling.

    Remove from heat and cool.
  4. 4
    Add eggs and beat with spoon or hand mixer.
  5. 5
    Add flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and vanilla.

    Mix well and pour into 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, until pick comes out clean.
